Looking for a photographer? The following series of articles gives an excellent overview of what to look for in your search for one. I especially like the third point, which is, look for the photographer that takes photos in the style you like. If there is one thing I have learned in my brief time doing photography, trying to get a shot based on direction from the client has resulted in work that I am not proud of in the least. But working with a client that likes my style and leaves it to me to capture the wedding (or any other event for that matter) as I see best has resulted in work that I love and value highly, which translates to a satisfied client.

Hey egm,
How's the baking going? And the nephew? And the travel journalism? What cool places have you done so far?

Baking's going. I have added chocolate cake to the mix. Nephew is growing rather fast! That bway also a very calm baby. Haven't done much of the travel journalism. Did just the one trip to Nakuru which will be in the August edition of Twende. Was to do Eldoret and Kapenguria but those were postponed. Missed out on an assignment to the coast due to a different job I had already committed to the same weekend. But, it's going.... Thanks for checking in!
